Highly regarded worldwide and one of Western Australia's iconic events, the Rottnest Channel Swim is a 19.7km open water swim from Cottesloe Beach to Rottnest Island. Whether competing as a solo, duo or team, the Rottnest Channel Swim is a team event with all swimmers surrounded by a support network of paddlers, boat skippers and crew. The event, managed by the Rottnest Channel Swim Association, is held in February of each year and is Rottnest Island's biggest day.
Swimmers' Seminar - it's next week!!!

The RCSA will be holding a free Swimmers' Seminar on Tuesday, 5 September 2018, from 7.00pm to 8.30pm at the Lecture Theatre at HBF Stadium. The Seminar will see swimmers and industry professionals discuss training, swimming tips, nutrition, preparation, the signs of hypothermia, as well as common mistakes.

While it is designed for solos, anyone who is interested in swimming in the 2018 Rottnest Channel Swim will find it helpful and is welcome to attend. If you are a first time swimmer, you are especially encouraged to come along.

Make sure you let us know you are attending by emailing enquires@rottnestchannelswim.com.au

Check it out everybody... the 2018 t-shirt design is here

After an incredible field of designs a winner has emerged! Jaymee Job from Bunbury has taken out the honours with her character filled hand drawn design encapsulating the iconic Cottesloe Beach, the picturesque Rottnest Island and of course the swimmer.

Jaymee took on her first Rotto Swim this year completing the deceptively difficult event in a team of four. Jaymee is 70% sure on coming back in 2018 but first has to plan her own wedding.

Congratulations Jaymee!
